Photos

The Photos tab is used for visual documentation of the show – e.g. photos of the stage setup, special effects, rehearsals or the finished lighting.

Add a photo

  1. Click "+ Add photo"
  2. Select an image file from the file system and confirm
  3. The photo appears in the gallery

Alternatively, drag one or more image files directly onto the gallery via drag & drop.

If no photos are present yet, the message "No photos yet." is displayed.

Processing on upload

Every photo is automatically resized on upload (max. 1500 px width) and re-compressed as JPEG (quality 70) — regardless of the original format. The original is not kept. PNG screenshots (e.g. of a lighting plan) lose sharpness as a result, and transparency is lost. Orientation is corrected automatically based on EXIF data. A small preview image (400 px) is also generated for fast gallery loading.

Maximum upload size: 50 MB per file.

View photos

All uploaded photos are displayed as a gallery grid. The number of photos is shown in the top right.

Clicking a photo opens the fullscreen view (lightbox) with arrow navigation to the previous/next photo.

Each photo has two fields:

  • Caption – Free text for documentation, e.g. position, fixture or note
  • Channel – Channel number assigned to the photo (e.g. 42). This photo is then assigned to the corresponding channel in the iOS app and can be accessed during focusing.

Delete a photo

Hovering over a photo reveals a delete icon. After confirming, the photo is permanently removed.

Under Settings → Account → Photos per print page you can specify how many photos fit on an A4 page (default: 4). This setting applies to both browser printing and PDF export.

Tip

The PDF export (via Export → PDF) includes the photos from the Photos tab (if present) and uses the same setting.
